De gekoelde Sigma 6‑16KS is geschikt voor een breed scala aan routine- en onderzoekstoepassingen met een grote veelzijdigheid, een geavanceerde gebruikersinterface en een uitstekende betrouwbaarheid.

De bloedzakversie SIG-1039506 is een configuratie met de juiste accessoires om bloedzakken te centrifugeren.

De Sigma 6-16KS levert steeds nauwkeurige scheidingsresultaten, of het nu gaat om bloedzakjes, petroleumflessen, microtiter- en deepwell-platen, of buisjes en kolven van 0,2 ml tot 1.000 ml. 
Deze centrifuge wordt op grote schaal gebruikt in de microbiologie en moleculaire biologie, de farmaceutische industrie, de genomica, de klinische diagnostiek, de bioproductie, celkweeklaboratoria en transfusiefaciliteiten. Er zijn in totaal twaalf vastehoek- en zes uitzwaairotoren beschikbaar, samen met talloze kuipjes en adapters – waaronder vele biosafe-configuraties. 

De Sigma 6‑16KS beschikt over een overzichtelijk display. De gepatenteerde Spincontrol S-regelaar met één knop biedt uitzonderlijk gebruiksgemak en procesbetrouwbaarheid. De optimalisatie van scheidingsruns en opbrengsten wordt ondersteund door 60 programma's met de mogelijkheid om gebruikersspecifieke instellingen te maken, evenals 30 profielen voor gebruik als versnellings- of remcurves. Aangepaste, persoonsspecifieke instellingen kunnen worden opgeslagen met wachtwoordbeveiligde toegangscontrole. Een uiterst praktische functie is het grote, van een afstand zichtbare programmastatusscherm met voortgangsbalk. 

De Sigma 6‑16KS is ook verkrijgbaar als de Sigma 6‑16S niet-gekoelde centrifuge, de Sigma 6‑16HS verwarmde centrifuge en de Sigma 6‑16KHS gekoelde en verwarmde centrifuge. Voor dit apparaat is optioneel een inertgaspoort verkrijgbaar.

De Sigma 8KBS is een gekoelde vloerstaande centrifuge die speciaal is ontwikkeld voor gebruik in bloedbanken en transfusiefaciliteiten. Het is een medisch hulpmiddel conform Verordening (EU) 2017/745, Klasse IIa voor de scheiding van bloedcomponenten voor transfusiegeneeskunde. Met een maximale capaciteit van 12 bloedzaksystemen per run maakt het een efficiënte verwerking van grote hoeveelheden monsters mogelijk. Het apparaat levert betrouwbare, uitstekende en reproduceerbare sedimentatieresultaten dankzij de zeer soepele werking.

efficient processing of large specimen volumes. The device delivers
