The new, intuitive Spincontrol T touch control unit makes it straightforward to select relevant parameters and offers additional functions for documented and safe processes. While the Sigma 3-16T is air-cooled and ideal for a wide range of routine applications, the Sigma 3-17KT features precision cooling and the Rapid Temp cooling function, making it perfect for temperature-sensitive specimens and processes.
Both models set new standards with their energy-efficient ECO Mode and a wide range of accessories and rotors.

is a space-saving, air-cooled benchtop centrifuge with an impressive capacity of up to 4 × 400 ml. Its wide range of rotors and accessories enables it to accommodate a wide variety of sample vessels, providing a high degree of flexibility for many laboratory applications – from routine tasks to more demanding process steps.
The Sigma 3-16T also sets high standards in terms of safety. Automatic rotor detection, digital imbalance monitoring and service life monitoring of rotors and buckets ensure reliable operation. The Sigma 3-16T is available as a refrigerated centrifuge and as an IVD version.

The Sigma 3-17KT
combines a compact design with powerful, precision-controlled cooling. The refrigerated centrifuge features fast, finely adjustable cooling in a temperature range from -20 °C to +40 °C. The "Rapid Temp" quick cooling function, which can be selected directly via a button, allows users to precool the centrifuge chamber and accessories to a defined temperature.
The centrifuge has an extremely large capacity of up to 4 × 400 ml. The wide range of fixed-angle and swing-out rotors, as well as a variety of accessories, ensures it can be used with many different vessel types and for a wide range of applications in daily laboratory work.
After a customisable period of time, the centrifuge automatically switches to standby mode when not in use. The display is reduced to the lowest brightness level, and the compressor of the cooling system is switched off. This is not only energy efficient, but also improves the working atmosphere in the lab because the noise level is significantly lower when the cooling system is shut off. The Sigma 3-17KT is available as a non-refrigerated centrifuge and as an IVD version.
