User-friendly stand-alone centrifuge for blood banks 

This blood bag centrifuge package consists of:

  • Sigma 8KBS floor-standing high capacity refrigerated with air-cooled compressor,
  • Rotor no. 11805,
  • 6 buckets no. 13860,
  • 6 adapters no. 13870,
  • 6 balance weights no. 17768,
  • 2 balance inserts for blood bags no. 17773, 
  • 2 tare weights no. 17753, 
  • 2 tare weights no. 17754, 
  • interface RS 232

The Sigma 8KBS is a refrigerated floor-standing centrifuge specifically
developed for deployment in blood banks and transfusion facilities. It is
a medical device according to Regulation (EU)2017/745, Class IIa for the
separation of blood components for transfusion medicine.
With a maximum capacity of 12 blood bag systems per run, it enables
efficient processing of large specimen volumes. The device delivers
reliably excellent and reproducible sedimentation results thanks to its
very smooth running. Along with its outstanding specifications, the
Sigma 8KBS features impressive energy efficiency and perfectly matched
accessories.
The centrifuge can optionally be equipped with functions for professional data handling in blood banks, based on the ISBT 128 barcode standard.
The centrifuge is optionally available with water cooling.

    De Sigma 8KBS is een gekoelde vloerstaande centrifuge die speciaal is ontwikkeld voor gebruik in bloedbanken en transfusiefaciliteiten. Het is een medisch hulpmiddel conform Verordening (EU) 2017/745, Klasse IIa voor de scheiding van bloedcomponenten voor transfusiegeneeskunde. Met een maximale capaciteit van 12 bloedzaksystemen per run maakt het een efficiënte verwerking van grote hoeveelheden monsters mogelijk. Het apparaat levert betrouwbare, uitstekende en reproduceerbare sedimentatieresultaten dankzij de zeer soepele werking. 
    Naast de uitstekende specificaties beschikt de Sigma 8KBS over een opmerkelijke energie-efficiëntie en perfect afgestemde toebehoren. Optioneel zijn er functies voor professionele gegevensverwerking in bloedbanken, gebaseerd op de ISBT 128-barcodestandaard. De centrifuge is ook verkrijgbaar met waterkoeling.
