Qu'est-ce qu'un système d'eau de laboratoire ?
Dans la plupart des applications de laboratoire, l'eau du robinet n'est pas assez pure. Elle contient des ions, des matières organiques, des particules (colloïdes) et des micro-organismes.
Ces contaminants peuvent fausser vos résultats d'analyse. Un système d'eau de laboratoire les élimine en combinant plusieurs techniques de purification, pour une eau à la qualité exacte requise par votre application.
L'eau de laboratoire se classe en trois degrés de pureté : type I, type II et type III.

Qu'est-ce que l'eau de type III ?

L'eau de type III — aussi appelée eau par osmose inverse (OI) ou eau de qualité laboratoire — est produite à partir de l'eau du robinet via deux techniques clés : la préfiltration et l'osmose inverse.
Lors de la préfiltration, les filtres à particules retiennent tout ce qui est plus grand que leurs pores. Des filtres à charbon actif sont parfois ajoutés pour éliminer les matières organiques par adsorption.
Le cœur d'un système OI est la membrane d'osmose inverse. L'eau y est pompée à travers une membrane semi-perméable, contre la pression osmotique. Cette étape évacue une grande partie des contaminants — ions, bactéries, colloïdes, matières organiques et pyrogènes — via les eaux usées.
Applications types : rinçage manuel de la verrerie, rinçage final des lave-vaisselle de laboratoire, remplissage des bains-marie, chambres climatiques et autoclaves.
Qu'est-ce que l'eau de type II ?

L'eau de type II — aussi appelée eau EDI, eau pure ou eau de qualité analytique — part le plus souvent des mêmes étapes que le type III. Les instruments combinés produisant les deux qualités à partir de l'eau du robinet sont donc simples à concevoir.
Le passage du type III au type II ajoute deux étapes : l'électrodéionisation et l'irradiation UV.
Le module d'électrodéionisation (EDI) est une colonne de résine dotée d'une électrode positive, d'une électrode négative et de plusieurs membranes semi-perméables. Il élimine la majeure partie des ions restants. Une lampe UV irradie ensuite l'eau à 254 nm, longueur d'onde très efficace contre l'ADN : elle détruit les micro-organismes et stérilise l'eau.
Applications types : tampons, solutions pH, milieux de culture et analyseurs cliniques.
Qu'est-ce que l'eau de type I ?
L'eau de type I — aussi appelée eau ultrapure ou de qualité réactif — s'appuie sur le procédé de type II ou se produit directement à partir d'eau de type III (OI). En pratique, la plupart des systèmes la produisent directement à partir d'eau OI.
Trois étapes supplémentaires sont nécessaires : une double lampe UV, une colonne d'échange d'ions et un filtre à charbon.
La double lampe UV agit à deux longueurs d'onde. À 254 nm, elle détruit les micro-organismes restants ; à 185 nm, elle oxyde les matières organiques sans les éliminer. La colonne d'échange d'ions — composée de résines anioniques et cationiques — réduit encore la concentration en ions. Enfin, le filtre à charbon actif élimine les matières organiques oxydées.
Applications types : HPLC, GC, AA, ICP-MS, solutions tampons, milieux de culture pour cellules humaines et animales, et réactifs de biologie moléculaires.

The Super-Genie E is specifically designed to produce large volumes of Type II pure water from tap water. The system is manufactured in an ISO 9001 : 2015 certified manufacturing site and CE marked. The quality of EDI water meets or exceeds ASTM, CLSI, CAP, and ISO Type II water standards.

4. UV Lamp
- An environmentally friendly In-line Mercury-free germicidal UV lamp is applied to kill bacteria.
5. Tank
- A 100L integrated tank is standard and upgradable to other sizes.
- The large storage tanks integrate distribution modules including loop UV lamp, loop filter, loop resistivity sensor and so on. Provides high-quality and stable distributed water through the loops.
- The sanitization module can keep bacteria in storage tanks at a low level by UVC LED lamp.

6. Final Filter

Genie De-ion water purification & dispensing kit is a bi-functional kit that is specially designed to fulfill the stringent requirements of trace and ultra-trace element analyses. It not only serves as a polishing unit to further purify ultrapure water fed by RephiLe Genie ultrapure water purification systems but also provides secure delivery of analytical-grade purified water, elemental contaminants down to ppt and sub-ppt levels.
