In dry sterilization, hot air - with no water vapor or moisture - ensures that laboratory equipment and devices are sterile without having to use risky decontamination methods.
Elke Memmert heteluchtsterilisator S is geclassificeerd als medisch hulpmiddel van klasse IIb. Memmert brengt medische hulpmiddelen van klasse IIb in omloop volgens MDD 93/42/EEG tot 26 mei 2024 volgens de overgangsbepalingen door de (EU) 2017/745 artikel 120 (2).
Technisch gezien is een heteluchtsterilisator hetzelfde als een laboratoriumovenmaar het heeft certificering voor medische hulpmiddelen klasse IIb.
