High-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filters remove particles smaller than 0.3 µm. VOC filters remove volatile organic compounds — a large group of carbon-based chemicals that evaporate easily at room temperature — which could jeopardize embryo culture. IVF laboratory air can contain higher VOC levels than outdoor air. VOCs significantly affect embryo cleavage rate, embryo development and blastocyst formation rate.


ESCO HEPA filter with efficiency of 99.99% at 0.3 microns.

    The MIRI® Time-Lapse Incubator is a multiroom incubator with a built-in camera and microscope. Designed and made in the EU, it delivers high-quality real-time time-lapse images of developing embryos, without removing them from the safety of the incubation chamber for manual microscopy. Time-lapse monitoring provides detailed morphokinetic data throughout development, which routine spot microscopy cannot. It captures all key events, helping IVF labs identify healthy embryos with the highest implantation potential and supporting higher pregnancy rates.

    6 (TL6) or 12 (TL12) independent chambers with precise temperature and gas control: opening one chamber does not affect the others.


    Time-lapse monitoring

    Time-lapse video built from images allows objective, reliable scoring and annotation of embryos, for better prediction of development and implantation potential.


    Heated lid

    Strong uniformity between top and bottom. Heated chamber lids prevent condensation, improve temperature regulation and recovery, and keep temperature uniform between the top and bottom of the chamber.

    Superior gas system

    • A built-in tri-gas mixer, an advanced gas regulation system and HEPA-VOC filtered recirculation allow precise gas control and lower gas consumption.

    Gas sampling ports for each chamber and independent PT-1000 sensors allow external quality evaluation of gas levels and temperature in each chamber.
