High performance with a new design

The Sigma 2-7 compact laboratory centrifuge arose from the experiences and desires of our customers. The technical features of this centrifuge are impressive: stainless steel bowl, imbalance switch, motorised lid lock, innovative run display with blue LEDs, and process reliability. The centrifuge is also very quiet in operation. Specimens are only slightly warmed, which is important for blood specimen tubes in particular. Together with a versatile, modular swing-out rotor, the foundation is laid for a successful career in many laboratories.

The benchtop centrifuge is available with numerous swing-out and fixed-angle rotors, along with various buckets and adapters. The extensive range of accessories can accommodate tubes and flasks from 1.5 ml to 100 ml as well as microtiter and deepwell plates.


The Sigma 2‑7 is also available as an IVD model. For cytocentrifugation, also ask the Cyto version.

    The Sigma 2‑16P is the right answer for virtually every task in everyday lab work. This all-purpose centrifuge is versatile in use and fits in every lab thanks to its compact design. With an extensive range of rotors and accessories and high RCF values up to 20,627 x g, it is suitable for a wide variety of applications.

    What makes the Sigma 2‑16P benchtop centrifuge so attractive?
    With a wide range of fixed-angle and swing-out rotors, this all-purpose centrifuge can hold PCR tubes, test tubes, round-bottom tubes, culture tubes and microtiter plates. This extensive range is rounded out by a haematocrit rotor.
    The Sigma 2‑16P provides extraordinary capacity with 4 x 100 ml in a swing-out rotor or 6 x 50 ml in a fixed-angle rotor.
