Precision Spins: Explore Premier Centrifuge Labwares for Your Scientific Breakthroughs
Whether you are helping to solve complex biological problems, investigating the causes of diseases, or finding potential new cures, you need consumables that meet your workflow needs.
Consumables like tubes, bottles, liners (bags), or microtiter plates from Beckman Coulter and Sigma are available in a variety of sizes and materials to meet your application. A number of factors go into selecting the right tube or bottles for an application, including: separation technique, sample type, solvent or gradient media, disposable or reusable format, transparent - translucent or opaque, diaphanous tubes designed to be sliced or punctured, autoclavable tubes that can be sterilized and reused, sterile or certified free of RNAse or DNAse or endotoxin, tubes resistant to a variety of chemical compounds, ...
You are not sure what's the best tube or bottle to fit your application ?
Just communicate your rotor and centrifuge type and our expert will be happy to advise.

Speciality labware for high-capacity and high-performance centrifuges
The Avanti 1L polypropylene and polycarbonate bottles build upon the versatility of the Avanti Series of centrifuges to help you gain even more control of your workflow. Manufactured in an ISO-certified facility under the ISO 9001 guidelines, this bottle material meets U.S. Pharmacopeia criteria for Class VI plastics.
1. Less wasted sample
There’s now no need to spin at the maximum bottle fill volume; our 1L bottles now support partial fills from 500 mL!
2. Higher speeds and temperatures
Achieves 8,000 rpm in the JLA‑8.1000 rotor, and 9,000 rpm in the JLA‑9.1000 rotor. Offers a maximum operating temperature of 38°C.
3. Improved chemical resistance
New polyetherimide AutoVent plug and polyphenylene sulfide cap provide greater chemical resistance.
4. Easy handling
With a diameter of 76 millimeters, the wide-mouth of this bottle allows easy access for removing pellets and cleaning. The cap handle and carrier simplify transport, and the cap is easily tightened.
5. Patented HarvestLine System Liners
Single-use liners provide easy-to-use, low-cost sample containment, and are compatible with commonly used chemicals and solvents.
6. Improved BioSafety*
A protective O-ring provides better containment. Head space on the top of the bottle also helps prevent leakage. Plus, the bottles are BioCertified* when used with our JLA 8.1000 or JLA 9.1000 rotors and canisters.
