KogeneBiotech is known for innovation in molecular diagnostics. It offers manual nucleic acid extraction kits to accompany its (real-time) PCR portfolio for clinical and veterinary diagnostics and food safety testing.

Analis does not offer KogeneBiotech's automated extractor for stand-alone extraction. However, if you plan to use Kogene's real-time PCR solutions for high-throughput IVDR analysis, Kogene's extractor is part of the IVDR-validated workflow * and can be included in the validated solution.

This flowchart shows the sampling-to-analysis workflow for nucleic acid extraction. It starts with careful sampling to protect sample integrity, followed by an automated DNA/RNA purification step (about 10 minutes). PCR reagents are then prepared (about 5 minutes), the real-time PCR run takes about one hour, and a final analysis takes about 5 minutes. Total turnaround time (TAT) is around 1.5 hours.
