Optimize Your Lab Work with Benchtop Centrifuges: Quality Instruments from Industry Leaders
Laboratory centrifuges are the workhorses of the lab, designed for cell culture processing, blood sample preparation, microplate applications and more — all in one instrument.
General purpose table top centrifuges are standard equipment in every laboratory and are used intensively, as they are virtually indispensable for separating liquid components with different densities.
Our long term partners Beckman Coulter and Sigma offer a broad spectrum of laboratory centrifuges, fixed-angle and swing-out rotors and accessories. All our products meet high standards of reliability and safety. Application areas include pharmaceutical research, biotechnology, medical analytics, environmental analytics, petroleum analyses, and many more.

Innovative Features of Sigma Centrifuges
Energy Efficiency, Maintenance-Free Design, and a Comprehensive Product Family

Eco Mode
Energy-efficiency
We provide our customers with long-lasting products that are easy to repair. This is because our laboratory centrifuges are of top quality. Not only are they incredibly reliable and powerful, but they’re also user-friendly. What’s more, we believe that improving the working environment in our customers’ labs is just as important as continuing to optimize energy efficiency.
Some of our cooled units even have an energy-saving ECO mode (standby mode, depending on settings). After a user-settable time, the centrifuge automatically switches to standby mode if it is not being used. Along with being energy efficient, this improves the working atmosphere in the lab by switching off the refrigeration to significantly reduce the noise level.

Your Comfort in centrifugation?
No more greasing!
Cleaning and caring for centrifuges and accessories is vital for long-term safe operation and optimal separation results. With swing-out rotors, regular greasing of the pins that carry the buckets is very important. Irregular or no greasing makes it difficult for the buckets to swing out, leading to imbalance.
Thanks to the new Sigma Comfort Coating, the black pins of Sigma Comfort Rotors no longer need to be greased. The rotor and buckets will comfortably operate together for several years – with no need for regular greasing.

Sigma 6-16KS, refrigerated benchtop centrifuge 220-240 V, 50 Hz
Reference : SIG-10395Performance matching a floor-standing centrifuge
The compactness of a benchtop centrifuge with the performance of a floor-standing centrifuge. The refrigerated Sigma 6‑16KS is suitable for a wide variety of routine and research applications. Along with high throughput with fixed-angle and swing-out rotors, it easily achieves RCF values up to 25,419 x g. Its key features are high versatility, an advanced user interface and outstanding reliability.
What makes the 6‑16KS refrigerated benchtop centrifuge so attractive?
Particularly thanks to the ability to use large-capacity fixed-angle rotors with high RCF, the centrifuge covers a distinctly broader spectrum of applications compared to competitive units.
The Sigma 6‑16KS delivers precise separation results in all cases, whether blood pouches, petroleum flasks, microtiter and deepwell plates, or tubes and flasks from 0.2 ml to 1,000 ml.
It is widely used in microbiology and molecular biology, pharmaceutics, genomics, clinical diagnostics, bioproduction, cell culture labs and transfusion facilities. A total of twelve fixed-angle and six swing-out rotors are available, along with numerous buckets and adapters – including many biosafe configurations.
The Sigma 6‑16KS features a clearly organised display. The patented Spincontrol S one-knob controller provides superior operating convenience and process reliability. Optimisation of separation runs and yields is supported by 60 programs with the option of making user-specific settings, as well as 30 profiles for use as acceleration or braking curves. Custom person-specific settings can be saved with password-protected access control. An extremely practical feature is the large program status display, visible from a distance, with a progress bar.
The Sigma 6‑16KS is also available as the Sigma 6‑16S unrefrigerated centrifuge, the Sigma 6‑16HS heated centrifuge and the Sigma 6‑16KHS refrigerated and heated centrifuge. An inert gas port is optionally available for this device.
It is also available in Blood Bag version with reference: SIG-1039506 Sigma 6-16KS Blood bag package

The most versatile 3‑litre centrifuge on the market with especially high performance
The Sigma 4‑16KS refrigerated benchtop centrifuge excels with versatile rotor configurations and outstanding capacity. Large specimen volumes can also be processed efficiently thanks to the maximum capacity of 4 x 750 ml in a swing-out rotor or 6 x 250 ml a fixed-angle rotor. The especially smooth running ensures excellent and reproducible sedimentation results. With its versatile range of rotors, it is suitable for research labs, hospitals, universities and pharmaceutical labs, as well as cell culture and biotechnology applications.
What makes the Sigma 4‑16KS refrigerated benchtop centrifuge so attractive?
The Sigma 4‑16KS is available with numerous swing-out and fixed-angle rotors as well as various buckets and adapters, including many biosafe configurations.
The extensive range of accessories can accommodate tubes and flasks from 0.2 ml to 750 ml as well as microtiter and deepwell plates.
The swing-out rotors can hold up to 3 litres (4 x 750 ml) or (for example) 16 x 50 ml tubes. The RCF values achievable with the configurations are best-in-class in this centrifuge segment. Highlights in the area of fixed-angle rotors include a 6 x 250 ml rotor with a maximum RCF of 13,131 x g and the ability to centrifuge 50 ml culture tubes at more than 23,000 x g.
This compact unit has intuitive operation and well-conceived features. The patented Spincontrol S one-knob controller provides superior operating convenience, safety and versatility. The acceleration and braking profiles (30 each) facilitate optimisation of separation runs and yields. Routine protocols can be stored with user-defined names and quickly retrieved from the integrated process library.
With automatic rotor identification, run time and speed monitoring, password-protected access to the controller and secure program storage, the centrifuge ensures uncompromising safety. The Sigma 4‑16KS also features a high-performance refrigeration system. Centrifuging at temperatures below 0°C is possible, depending on the rotor and the speed.
The Sigma 4‑16KS is also available as the Sigma 4‑16S unrefrigerated centrifuge and the Sigma 4‑16KHS refrigerated and heated centrifuge. An inert gas port is optionally available for this device series.

This vacuum grease is for o-ring lubrification. Lubrification will protect the o-ring and maintain efficiency of the closure systems.
Silicon vacuum grease is used on the O-rings of centrifuges and ultracentrifuges to:
- Prevent Sample Spillage and contamination:
The grease helps maintain a tight seal, preventing any sample from leaking out and ensuring no contaminants enter the system. - Maintain Vacuum:
In devices like ultracentrifuges that operate under vacuum, the grease helps maintain the vacuum conditions by preventing air leaks into the centrifuge vessel. This is crucial for the proper functioning of these machines.
946-mL bottles of Solution 555™ Rotor Cleaning Concentrate, 1 qty; minimum order 2 bottles.
Under normal use, as part of the day-to-day care and maintenance program of the centrifuge rotors, wash the rotor frequently to prevent the build-up of residues.
Beckman Solution 555 (339555) is a mild and efficient detergent that won’t damage the rotors.
56gr tube Spinkote Lubricant for metal threads in Beckman Coulter rotors.
The lubricant is part of the recommended maintenance procedures for certain types of equipment. Following these procedures can help ensure the equipment operates correctly and has a long service life.
This can help reduce friction, prevent corrosion, and extend the life of the threads.
