INFORMATION & REGISTRATION

Extracellular Vesicle Research Meeting in Belgium - BESEV 2026

The BESEV Meeting 2026 gathers scientists and researchers dedicated to extracellular vesicle (EV) research, nanosized membrane vesicles carrying proteins, lipids, metabolites, and nucleic acids. These vesicles play key roles in cell communication, physiological regulation, and disease mechanisms, making them a major focus in modern life sciences.

Across Belgian universities, EV research is growing rapidly. The Belgian Society for Extracellular Vesicles (BESEV) has been launched to strengthen collaboration and build a national research network. This 2026 edition in Brussels marks a milestone for Belgian and Benelux EV science, connecting academic and industrial experts around shared innovation.

When

30 January 2026

Objectives

The BESEV Meeting promotes scientific exchange and collaboration, offering multiple opportunities for early-stage researchers to present their findings, discuss results, and engage with peers. Attendees will explore the latest insights into EV isolation, characterization, and applications in biomedical and diagnostic fields.
